Users can refine their search using various filters, including brand, frame type, and material. **Objective** The client envisioned a bike rental service in Mallorca but lacked the technical skills needed to bring it to life. **Effort** The Syndicode team handled all technical aspects of the project, allowing the client to concentrate on business operations. Initially, the plan for the BookYaBike platform was to collect and showcase all available rental stations in the region. However, through market research and brainstorming, the concept evolved into a comprehensive platform where users—ranging from amateurs to professionals—can rent suitable bikes without the need to transport their own. Our team developed a distinctive UI/UX design for the marketplace website and executed it. Given the requirement for complex search functionality with extensive filtering options, we chose WordPress due to its faceted search features. For optimal performance, we implemented React Native for the frontend and Ruby on Rails for the backend, utilizing its microservices architecture. **Outcome** The platform allows users to find bikes that meet various criteria, such as brand, type, rider height, gender, frame size, material, and brake and shifting types. Additionally, it checks the availability of bikes at rental stations in the selected area and provides details about those stations and their full inventory.
