BookYaBike

Unknown

**Overview** BookYaBike is a bicycle rental platform that connects cycling enthusiasts with rental services throughout Mallorca. Users can refine their search using various filters, including brand, frame type, and material. **Objective** The client envisioned a bike rental service in Mallorca but lacked the technical skills needed to bring it to life. **Effort** The Syndicode team handled all technical aspects of the project, allowing the client to concentrate on business operations. Initially, the plan for the BookYaBike platform was to collect and showcase all available rental stations in the region. However, through market research and brainstorming, the concept evolved into a comprehensive platform where users—ranging from amateurs to professionals—can rent suitable bikes without the need to transport their own. Our team developed a distinctive UI/UX design for the marketplace website and executed it. Given the requirement for complex search functionality with extensive filtering options, we chose WordPress due to its faceted search features. For optimal performance, we implemented React Native for the frontend and Ruby on Rails for the backend, utilizing its microservices architecture. **Outcome** The platform allows users to find bikes that meet various criteria, such as brand, type, rider height, gender, frame size, material, and brake and shifting types. Additionally, it checks the availability of bikes at rental stations in the selected area and provides details about those stations and their full inventory.

Evrlearn

Unknown

**Overview** Evrlearn is an educational marketplace designed to connect users with the most suitable courses offered by various global providers and Swiss universities. The platform's recommendation algorithm is based on a detailed questionnaire that users complete during registration. **Objective** An EdTech startup approached Syndicode, a specialized marketplace development firm, to build a learning platform from the ground up. The client supplied the UX/UI design, but did not specify the technical requirements at the outset of the project. **Approach** The Syndicode team analyzed the client's concept and proposed innovative implementation strategies. Together, we selected the technology stack and prioritized the features to include. Our developers created the platform using React Native with a Ruby on Rails backend. To improve SEO and facilitate social sharing for a dynamic site, we implemented full-page caching. For a robust search functionality, we utilized Elasticsearch technology, which efficiently handles large data volumes and delivers personalized results quickly. Stripe Connect was chosen for its security and reliability as a payment system. Syndicode engineers developed a method for processing offline payment requests and enabling automated commission payments to platform owners. **Outcome** The Syndicode team played a crucial role in refining the idea and launching a comprehensive educational platform. The client relied entirely on our technical skills for coding, testing, and delivery. Within nine months, we launched a minimum viable product (MVP), and following successful validation, the complete product was released. Currently, Evrlearn offers over 3,000 courses and continues to grow its user base. Syndicode continues to provide ongoing technical support for the platform.

Harvest Inn

Unknown

**Description**: Harvest Inn is an Australian platform that connects local small businesses with travelers. This service allows travelers to secure complimentary stays for their self-contained RVs or motorhomes, away from congested tourist spots, while discovering new destinations. Hosts gain from the platform by expanding their customer base and increasing visibility for their businesses. **Goal**: The client had a concept in mind but needed technical expertise to validate it effectively. They sought a full-cycle custom development company specializing in marketplaces to develop a minimum viable product (MVP) and then create a comprehensive product. Syndicode met all their requirements. **The Effort**: Syndicode’s business analysts conducted in-depth market research and provided accurate time and cost estimates for development. Collaborating with the marketing team and engineers, we identified the essential features for the MVP, selected the most advantageous tech stack, and outlined a plan for subsequent iterations. Syndicode's product designers created a custom UI/UX design tailored to the specific needs of the target audience. We designed and implemented three user scenarios: location search, date-based booking, booking history, a host dashboard, and chat functionality to facilitate smooth interactions between users and hosts. Our team maintained regular communication with the client through meetings, discussions, and sought approvals. We meticulously documented the project's progress and supplied transparent reports, allowing the client to monitor and manage our work effortlessly. **The Result**: The MVP was successfully launched and began generating revenue. Syndicode has continued to provide development services.
