Thrive Workplace offers a results-oriented workspace across four locations in Denver, with adaptable terms and packages tailored to future business needs. During the pandemic, we have supported Thrive in maintaining a professional, safe, and healthy environment, which has been a key aspect of their value proposition, helping them navigate challenging times. We developed a mobile application that includes a client interface for Thrive customers as well as a Back Office for internal use, ensuring clean, sanitary, and organized work and meeting areas. The user app features four main pages, while the Back Office contains five, with functionality tailored to specific locations. The Back Office app is managed by Site Managers who are assigned to particular sites. It allows managers to oversee various administrative tasks. The client-facing app is designed to enable users to register as members, manage their profiles, view booking history and upcoming reservations, check room availability, and make new bookings easily. It automatically identifies the nearest Thrive location through GPS. An Info Page was included to share COVID-related recommendations with members, making them feel more at ease within the Thrive spaces. This app has helped Thrive distinguish itself from competitors and endure the COVID pandemic, but it was specially conceived for that time. We are now focused on developing new features to enhance the app's capabilities moving forward.

Staff Augmentation for Insurance Company

Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd, along with its subsidiaries, is a worldwide provider of insurance and reinsurance solutions. Operating under the name Allied World, they have been offering thoughtful service and substantial coverage to clients and partners since 2001. The company is a subsidiary of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, a Canadian-based international holding company which is publicly traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange and specializes in property and casualty insurance, reinsurance, and financial services management. Allied World significantly depends on offshore IT providers for affordable bandwidth. They faced challenges with time zone differences and employee retention. In 2016, they changed their software and sought a team of developers to collaborate with their internal team. Initially, this partnership was limited to two applications but later grew to encompass broader projects. They required developers focused on the front end while the in-house team handled the back end. Our nearshore staffing experience proved beneficial due to the cultural alignment compared to India, allowing for a strong foundation of trust to grow as Allied World expanded its strategic application development efforts. What started as a one-month trial has transformed into a contract lasting over three years. We’ve provided developers skilled in front-end and back-end technologies (Angular, .NET, C#), ETL developers (SQL Server), designers, testers, and DevOps (Azure & Docker). The team was responsible for designing the platform’s user interface and refining their integration system. Our collaboration later extended to include Data Analytics professionals as well. Throughout this partnership, we maintained a retention rate close to 100% for the 2-20+ member team over a three-year span, a remarkable achievement in the offshore IT industry.

Online Banking Platform Renewal

Switch has been the technology partner for BBVA since 2010. In 2013, BBVA chose to overhaul its Online Banking Platform, and we took the lead on this project, collaborating closely with the Innovation and Multichannel teams at BBVA Bank. The primary challenges included completely upgrading the architecture and technology stack. This project requires an Enterprise Bus Service to support various channels, including Home Banking, IVR, self-service terminals, and other external services. Given that the application manages over 250,000 logins and 80,000 transactions monthly, we conducted thorough testing (stress, performance, and penetration) before launch to prevent any issues or unexpected errors that could disrupt the user experience. Additionally, the application's design was refreshed, and we worked directly with the headquarters in Spain for this part of the project.
