Barzini

The Barzini packaging design is centered around capturing the brand's lively and vibrant spirit while also evoking a sense of nostalgic elegance. Barzini, a refreshing mix of gin, aranciata, and limonada, is intended for social events—be it by the pool, at lively cafes, or during street food outings. The design brief emphasized the importance of reflecting the playful, sociable essence of the drink while paying homage to the charm of vintage Italian beverages. Aiming at young, adventurous consumers, the challenge was to harmonize modern aesthetics with nostalgic elements, ensuring the product stands out in a crowded canned beverage market. Our research focused on mid-century Italian soda branding, taking cues from the stylish yet approachable illustrations of the 1950s and 1960s. These visuals, known for their hand-drawn elements and vivid colors, were updated with a modern twist to forge a distinctive and timeless identity. Two engaging characters represent the Barzini lifestyle, depicted as fashionable and carefree individuals enjoying the drink with enthusiasm. To further enhance the playful nature, elements from the beverage—like oranges and limes—are incorporated into their clothing, emphasizing the connection to the ingredients. The final packaging conveys the essence of Barzini: fun, social, and timeless. By blending nostalgic inspiration with contemporary execution, we have created an emotional resonance that amplifies the product's appeal. The characters introduce a memorable and relatable touch, making Barzini easily identifiable. The vibrant design has garnered positive feedback from both the client and consumers, effectively showcasing the product's personality and strengthening its position in the ready-to-drink market. Barzini was also honored with a silver award from the World Brand Design Society.

The Better Chip

The packaging design of The Better Chip is inspired by the ancient legend of the Rabbit on the Moon, transforming the round tortilla chip to represent the moon itself. According to the story, a kind rabbit shared its food with a hungry traveler who was, in reality, a disguised deity. Touched by the rabbit's kindness, the deity immortalized its image on the moon. This narrative element is integrated into the design, which fuses myth with vibrant, traditional Mexican motifs, highlighting the deep connection between tortillas and Mexican culture. The geometric patterns, influenced by Mexican folk art, showcase the rabbit, the moon, and essential ingredients like carrots, chilies, and honey, differing by flavor. The end result is a striking and bold design that merges authenticity with a modern, playful vibe. Intended for a family-sized bag, the packaging features a high-contrast color scheme, including vivid color combinations like bright yellow and red or orange and green, ensuring it stands out on the shelf. A clean, minimalist font enhances readability, allowing the intricate and colorful details to take center stage. Aimed at capturing the attention of Gen Z and Millennials, this design effectively combines bold creativity with cultural storytelling, making The Better Chip a noticeable contender in the snack aisle. Coffee Clique

For Coffee Clique, an Australian coffee brand, we created a unified branding package that encompassed logo design, pouch designs, and a shipping box. Each coffee pouch was thoughtfully illustrated to represent the source of the coffee beans, focusing on incorporating local Australian elements into the designs. This strategy not only showcased the authenticity of each coffee's origin but also established a unique visual identity that celebrates Australia's vibrant culture and landscapes. The shipping box was designed with the unboxing experience in mind, ensuring that the brand story resonates from the moment of online purchase to the product's arrival at the customer's doorstep, providing a seamless and memorable experience.
