Point 2 - a prominent Rights to Light Consultancy firm, has undergone significant changes since its inception. We collaborated with their team to revitalize their brand. After four years in business, P2 had recently revamped their website, which led to inconsistencies in their branding due to the use of various materials and styles. They required a cohesive identity that unified all elements under one brand. Furthermore, they felt that their existing branding no longer reflected their current identity as a business, prompting them to seek guidance from us at Studio Change. Following several discussions, it became evident that their old branding didn't align with their present direction. With over 70 employees, some were attached to the old branding, so we needed a strategy to unite everyone. Instead of jumping straight to design, we conducted a few Promise of Value workshops. As a result, P2 now has a completely refreshed brand that accurately represents their stage of growth. All their materials and documents narrate this story through both language and design. The team is now unified under the new approach, which will guide their marketing decisions and future campaigns. Although the brand's visual aspects may evolve over time, the core values of the business are now central to their public image. Alongside an improved website (created by their existing web agency), the new brand signifies a renewed commitment to delivering exceptional client service and pursuing future growth. Kinetic Capital is a specialized lender in purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) with over 50 years of experience in the sector. Their team has an exceptional track record in underwriting PBSA transactions, having successfully completed more than £7 billion worth of projects across eight countries and three continents. They approached Studio Change with two main objectives: first, to develop a new brand identity along with relevant marketing materials and a website; and second, to engage in Project for Change. Lenders are required to fulfill specific Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria when financing projects, necessitating reporting from the lending source through to the completed construction to adhere to ESG standards. Kinetic's team was eager to go beyond mere compliance and truly make a positive impact with their investments. Through our Project for Change process, we explored the internal priorities related to social change within the team. We recognized that while governance was already well established, the focus needed to shift to the social aspect. Given the current pandemic, we conducted a streamlined workshop with the CEO via Zoom, which allowed us to gather crucial insights to develop strategies for potential themes and initiatives at investment locations. Our research revealed several ways in which Kinetic’s ESG policy could differentiate itself from competitors, along with recommendations for funding projects and partnering with local organizations at development sites. We proposed various options for community support, such as buddy systems for students and seniors, skill-sharing programs, mental health services for both students and the community, and spaces for communal use. One Green Thing

We developed a fresh brand identity for the environmental social enterprise One Green Thing CIC. Collaborating with the founders, we established a new identity and communication style to reflect their mission. One Green Thing motivates individuals to take at least one simple action each week to benefit the environment. Over the span of a year, each person contributing 52 positive actions can make a significant impact. As a new startup, they required a distinctive identity for the initiative, so we steered clear of clichéd visuals and focused on impactful typography and text-driven messaging.
