Swiss Risk & Care communication and mascot design.

SWISS RISK & CARE

**Challenge** As the third largest provider of financial and corporate services in the country, the team specializes in areas such as insurance, pensions, human resources, and actuarial consulting, with a commitment to transparency, efficiency, and strong governance. To differentiate themselves from their competitors, the client sought our expertise to design an insurance card that would embody their global vision while still highlighting their focus on the Swiss market and aligning with their existing brand identity. Following the success of this initial project, we were subsequently tasked with creating corporate informational materials and designing the company's first-ever mascot. **Solution** To convey leadership, strength, and trust while showcasing the company's Swiss heritage, our design team crafted a striking red card featuring a darker, atlas-style outline of Switzerland on the front. We employed clear black and white text with sharp angles to represent clarity, efficiency, and reliability. Satisfied with the results, Swiss Risk & Care asked us to apply a similar design approach to create promotional posters for both internal and external corporate use. This approach was also carried over into the development of the company mascot, which our creative team envisioned as a versatile and charming animated character named Redi—a name we recommended to ensure easy pronunciation for French and German speakers. **Impact** The introduction of the card, promotional materials, and mascot received an overwhelmingly positive response in both local and international markets. Following our initiatives, Swiss Risk & Care experienced a significant increase in positive feedback, demonstrating a clear link between the mascot’s launch and rising consumer interest. These materials effectively promoted their services to prospective clients and facilitated the onboarding of new employees, both of which were carried out successfully.

Melita telco rebrand & communication strategy.

Melita

Melita is the largest telecommunications provider in Malta, delivering services both locally and increasingly throughout Europe. Initially established as a cable TV provider, the company has evolved alongside technological advancements to offer quadruple play telecom services. As Melita expanded, customer expectations rose, leading the company's leadership to seek our expertise in revitalizing Melita's brand and communications. This marked what could be considered Malta's most significant rebranding in decades. After conducting thorough brand health research with McKinsey, we were selected to oversee the repositioning and rebranding of Melita, enabling the company to alter market perceptions while leveraging its existing brand equity. Upon winning the pitch, we aimed to create a brand identity that positioned Melita as a reliable brand, enhancing connectivity faster than ever. The name Melita is deeply associated with Malta's identity and heritage, which inspired our branding approach. We chose a striking light-blue color to represent the sky and sea, paired with vibrant pink to symbolize innovation and uniqueness, reflecting the nation’s bold spirit. The rebranding was integrated throughout the entire brand architecture and formally launched in 2017, coinciding with the introduction of a new product, NexTV. All major interaction points, both online and offline, were revamped according to the new brand identity. Within three weeks of launching the rebrand, Melita saw its first net increase in subscribers in eight years. This rebranding also led to ongoing improvements in customer and market perceptions, allowing Melita to continue its growth and expand its services to Italy, Switzerland, and other parts of Europe.
