Food Delivery Mobile Application UI/UX Design
**Project Overview**
Roll Club is a local dining establishment and food delivery service. We developed a mobile app featuring a streamlined ordering process, which has led to improved customer loyalty.
**Project Challenges**
During the initial exploration phase, we identified several issues within the business operations and user requirements. The key challenges included:
- Simplifying the ordering process
- Reducing the burden on the company's call center
- Enhancing customer retention
**Background Information**
The restaurant serves over 100,000 customers and handles around 1,000 orders daily, primarily through its website and call center.
**UI/UX Design Process**
1. **Discovery:** We collected comprehensive information about the restaurant's current operations, user needs, and challenges.
2. **User Testing:** We engaged customers to test our decisions using interactive prototypes.
3. **UI/UX Design:** We developed the project's structure and crafted the user experience and interface.
4. **Development & Testing:** We implemented app functionalities and integrated it with the restaurant's systems.
**User Research**
We gathered quantitative data from customers to gain insights into their behaviors and motivations, which helped us analyze and improve the user experience.
**Quality Interviews**
Conducting interviews with customers was an effective way to uncover their main concerns and requirements.
**Information Architecture**
We created a horizontal architecture map that enables users to access any page more quickly, with any option reachable in just 2-3 clicks, facilitating easier navigation.
**Streamlined Checkout Process**
We enabled auto-population of fields with previously saved data, allowing customers to confirm their future orders easily and reducing the number of clarification calls to the call center.
**Final Status Screens**
Once an order is placed, users receive various status updates that provide detailed information about their delivery progress and courier tracking.
