Speechly was established based on the core conviction that voice will become the next significant shift in technology after touch. In 2016, while developing Apple's Siri in Paris, our CTO Hannes recognized that the essential technologies behind contemporary voice user interfaces had advanced to a point where something innovative could be created. The initial minimum viable product (MVP) prototype for a modern voice UI was designed to help users track their meals in a diary.
