We developed an entirely new solution for a high-tech start-up — an innovative job board tailored for the Asian market. This platform is designed specifically for the healthcare and medical sciences sectors, targeting top-tier researchers and scientists. We faced a dual challenge: both employers and applicants struggle to accurately articulate their skills, often due to NDAs or the use of highly specialized terminology that lacks universally understood definitions. Consequently, the job board needs to assess whether an applicant's skills align with job requirements and offer recommendations based on additional factors, even in the absence of a precise skills match. We have created a fully functional back-end prototype and are currently developing a graphical user interface (GUI). The job board operates similarly to popular job portals, allowing applicants to remain anonymous until they choose to share their contact information for interviews, thus protecting them from having their current employers discover they are job hunting. Our prototype addresses two key issues faced by job boards: it employs the Word2vec system, a natural language processing algorithm that evaluates both job postings and applicants’ CVs through Part of Speech (PoS) tagging. This approach identifies correlations between job requirements and applicants' skill summaries. Additionally, we enhance the process using our own algorithms. The machine learning model undergoes reinforcement learning whenever a skill match is successfully identified or a new skill is added to the database, which improves the accuracy of recommendations. One of the primary challenges faced by the analytics department in corporate sectors is the overwhelming volume of data that needs to be processed, which requires analysts to generate extensive text that often goes unread. This issue is especially prominent when creating monthly or quarterly reports that aim to provide real value. We developed a solution that reduced human errors by 58% and accelerated report writing by 71%. A client requested a natural language generation (NLG) tool to streamline the report creation process. The key challenge was the need to handle numerous reports from various departments, which lack a consistent format and structure. We created a proof of concept (PoC) that converts MS Excel spreadsheets into text. These spreadsheets can vary in size and content, and the algorithm must identify and organize all relevant parameters. The process starts with data normalization, allowing us to pull out critical information from incoming spreadsheets. This data is then fed into a Template Generator that operates on a Yes/No/Equal framework: by crafting simple templates and building arrays from them, we can address a wide range of scenarios using a few basic components that can be reconfigured in multiple ways. This enables the automatic generation of customized, multi-layered reports with all details pre-filled. This straightforward tool allows for the rapid production of diverse and informative reports in just minutes, significantly reducing human errors by 58% and accelerating report preparation by 71%.
