**Global Airport Lounge Application** TAV Airports is Turkey's premier airport operator. Together with its subsidiaries, TAV Airports serves 152 million travelers, offering a variety of services, including duty-free shopping, food and beverage options, aircraft ground handling, IT support, security, and more. Today, TAV is launching a mobile application to enhance the airport experience for outbound passengers. This app was developed in collaboration with Solid-ICT. **TAV’s Goals** Many airport travelers often mistakenly believe that airport lounges are exclusively for business class passengers. Additionally, those accessing the lounges frequently found it confusing to determine which lounge corresponded with their boarding pass, leading to long lines at the entrances. This situation was frustrating for those who expected a premium experience. TAV aimed to improve these negative encounters by making lounge services quick and easily accessible to all travelers. **Our Approach** We are dedicated to ensuring the success of every project and consistently aim for higher standards. Our first step was to grasp TAV's vision for the project, allowing us to transform it into reality with our advanced coding skills. Next, we sought to understand the needs of the target customers to craft the ideal user experience. To gain insights, we actively sold tickets in an airport lounge, which helped us identify the most effective strategy and develop an efficient application for TAV. Our committed team monitored the launch and provided 24/7 support for the first day to guarantee smooth operation. As is the case with all Solid projects, our involvement continues beyond execution, as we offer ongoing maintenance and support. **Innovative Solutions** We created the LoungeMe app to deliver a seamless and enjoyable lounge experience for all travelers. * Passengers can easily register, purchase memberships, find lounges, and generate entrance tickets in just two clicks. * They have options to buy either packages or individual lounge access depending on their travel habits and preferences. * Users earn points with LoungeMe purchases, which can be redeemed for future travel. * The app features options for sharing lounge packages, inviting friends, rating lounges, playing games, and more. * To prevent fraud, LoungeMe employs image recognition technology supported by AWS machine learning. * The app functions offline, allowing passengers to purchase tickets and access lounges with a QR code without needing an internet connection. * LoungeMe supports over 15 payment methods, including Alipay, Ideal, and Sofort, along with all major credit and debit cards. **Beyond Just an App for Passengers** Currently overseen by Solid and a team of about 20 specialists, the LoungeMe app will integrate with APIs to collaborate with various corporations managing airports or loyalty programs. Its web infrastructure also allows LoungeMe to connect with online platforms in the tourism industry, including travel agencies, hotels, and ticket vendors, making it easy for passengers to purchase lounge access linked to their flight tickets or tours.

When Turkcell, Turkey's top GSM operator, and YGA, a non-profit organization, approached us with an innovative initiative aimed at assisting the visually impaired—at a time when corporate social responsibility was not yet on our radar—we eagerly embraced the opportunity. This collaboration gave rise to Hayal Ortagim (My Dream Companion), a comprehensive mobile and web solution that received numerous awards and widespread praise. Hayal Ortagim serves as a platform for audio content from various sources, including newspapers, magazines, books, horoscopes, and essential information like user location, weather updates, exchange rates, as well as nearby hospitals, pharmacies, and restaurants. The content is sourced from multiple channels that utilize different formats. To ensure everything remains synchronized and uniformly structured, we developed a queue processor based on ActiveMQ technology. This processor organizes the incoming data into well-ordered, properly formatted, and speech-synthesized (TTS engine powered) segments, which are then distributed to the users. We later enhanced the app with indoor voice-guided navigation using beacon technology, allowing users to receive notifications about their location within a mall, areas that require caution (like escalators), and the shops they are nearing. In a groundbreaking addition aimed at including the visually impaired in ways previously unimagined, we integrated a cinema feature. This allows the app to use audio matching technology to determine the current scene in a movie, providing descriptions of what’s on screen while leaving the rest to the user's imagination. Hayal Ortagim became the first project to win two GSMA awards and has aided over 150,000 visually impaired users in overcoming challenges, accessing diverse content, educating themselves, and enjoying outings with friends. We take immense pride in this project, and the impact is evident—quite literally.

We collaborated with Turkcell to create a platform aimed at encouraging young individuals to select and utilize a plan tailored specifically for them. This plan was designed to be budget-friendly while also featuring options that were particularly relevant to their age group. We developed a sophisticated, comprehensive system that integrated smoothly with Turkcell's internal services, allowing users to access various details about their subscriptions and make updates on the go. Additionally, we connected and integrated with other mobile applications, including Turkcell’s BIP messaging platform. Both Turkcell and we wanted to go beyond that, so we created a gamification system that tracked user behavior and rewarded them with badges. These badges could then accumulate into trophies, which users could eventually redeem, using coupon codes, for real-life rewards like cinema tickets. GNCTurkcell quickly gained popularity, boasting over 1.7 million users and continuing to grow. Its success earned us several awards, and we are presently focused on developing a second version to surpass our initial achievement.
