Designing an all-in-one Solar Sales SaaS platform.

Solar Blaze

Solar Blaze provides a comprehensive sales software platform that integrates your teams, lenders, proposals, documents, and designs to enhance efficiency and reduce friction, ultimately resulting in increased returns. Before partnering with Solace, Solar Blaze had expanded organically through its SaaS platform aimed at revolutionizing the solar sales sector. We recognized that improving user experience was crucial for achieving rapid growth and enhancing customer satisfaction. Although developers had created their current products with necessary features, the user journeys experienced considerable friction. Our goal was to elevate the interface design to a premium SaaS level, enabling users to effortlessly generate proposals. Thanks to our efforts, Solar Blaze secured funding and is experiencing rapid growth. For the solution, we engaged in a 6-week project to revamp the existing UI and UX through various design-thinking initiatives. The outcome was a fully clickable prototype that was ready for presentation to Solar Blaze's senior stakeholders and testing with their customer base.

B2B construction materials marketplace.

Material Supply

Material Supply is a technology-driven marketplace aimed at offering the lowest prices to industrial buyers such as contractors, municipalities, and private utility operators. The challenge arose from the need to address various user experience (UX) issues associated with a complex product designed to simplify material ordering in the construction sector. The founder faced numerous UX hurdles, from intricate scheduling to product suggestions, requiring a UX strategy that provided clear solutions to these problems. In order to compete with established players, a top-notch user interface (UI) was essential for market differentiation and scalability. Furthermore, as they onboarded their first customers, Material Supply required a website that effectively communicated their offerings as a new entrant. The product and brand needed to inspire trust and help establish initial traction while engaging potential investors. To tackle these challenges, we embarked on a 12-week project to create the product from the ground up, utilizing the UX double diamond process to explore the industry, understand user motivations, and translate those insights into market-optimized solutions. We established a robust foundation for the design by creating a well-structured information architecture and mapping user journeys that enhanced the material ordering and scheduling process. Our design thinking focused on harmonizing the functions of a SaaS solution with an eCommerce buying experience, crafting a platform that serves both as a tool and as an online store. After delivering refined product designs, we collaborated with Material Supply on their website to support their market entry strategy. This involved brainstorming key messaging and defining pertinent information, leading to a website developed from scratch. With precise messaging, brand-driven visuals, and a scalable WordPress content management system, Material Supply is now strategically positioned to cultivate its initial sales pipeline.

PeopleBunch is a software-as-a-service solution developed by Purple Jay Nurseries, an organization focused on educating children from birth to age five. This platform simplifies the operations of nurseries and schools while ensuring adherence to government regulations. Many nurseries and schools rely on several subscription-based services for different functions, which can be expensive and ineffective. Additionally, these services might not meet government standards, resulting in extra costs and compliance challenges. PeopleBunch addresses this issue by offering a unified platform that optimizes nursery and school operations, ensuring compliance and reducing the necessity for multiple subscription services.
