Challenges faced included: - **Localization Requirements:** The Middle East features distinct payment methods, such as SADAD in Saudi Arabia and NAPS in Qatar, which needed to be integrated to serve the local audience. - **Currency Management:** The platform had to accommodate several Middle Eastern currencies, like the UAE Dirham, Saudi Riyal, and Qatari Riyal, while providing accurate and current conversion rates. - **Security Issues:** It was crucial to guarantee secure transactions that complied with both international and local regulations. - **Language Support:** The payment interface needed to offer options in both Arabic and English. - **Integration Challenges:** The payment gateway possessed unique APIs and required complex backend processes to seamlessly integrate with Magento's order management.
