The client is a company focused on manufacturing lightweight commercial vehicles. They engaged Softeq to enhance their products with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Softeq developed an ADAS solution capable of real-time analysis of data from 15 in-vehicle cameras. This system features five ARM-based processes—four dedicated to image processing and one for mathematical computations. An Electronic Robot Assembly Kit

Revolution Robotics Foundation

The Revolution Robotics Foundation aimed to create a programmable kit similar to Lego, allowing users to build robots and program their functions via smartphones. This kit is designed for educational institutions and is anticipated to be more affordable than existing options on the market. To assist with this project, the client enlisted Softeq. Our team developed the following components: ● Firmware for integrating advanced sensors ● Interfaces for accessing sensors, an accelerometer, and a bump switch ● Two types of LED indicators for device status communication ● A protocol for connecting smartphones to a Raspberry Pi board, enabling remote programming and control of the robot The finished kit incorporates 530 plastic pieces, leverages open-source hardware, adds audio playback capabilities, and provides a library of parts suitable for 3D printing.
