In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the client aimed to introduce a paperless feature in the app to eliminate the need for in-person visits and facilitate remote document submission. Consequently, we were tasked with providing a team of specialists to realize this concept. Approach and Solution: A dedicated team, including a project manager, a backend developer, and a frontend developer, was assembled to assess the current application and outline the needs for the paperless feature. Initial requirements included digitizing documents, enabling online submissions, integrating e-signature capabilities, and creating a streamlined contactless car pickup process. The backend developer designed the API, created necessary database structures, and established business logic for the paperless module.
