Project Overview: NDA Company offers a car rental application. Previously, customers were required to visit the office in person to submit documents, complicating the rental process. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the client aimed to introduce a paperless feature in the app to eliminate the need for in-person visits and facilitate remote document submission. Consequently, we were tasked with providing a team of specialists to realize this concept. Approach and Solution: A dedicated team, including a project manager, a backend developer, and a frontend developer, was assembled to assess the current application and outline the needs for the paperless feature. Initial requirements included digitizing documents, enabling online submissions, integrating e-signature capabilities, and creating a streamlined contactless car pickup process. The backend developer designed the API, created necessary database structures, and established business logic for the paperless module. Meanwhile, the frontend engineer crafted user interfaces to ensure a smooth user experience. Technologies such as AWS, MySQL, Laravel, and PHP were utilized to develop a strong and scalable solution.
