About the Team

OUR STORY

Founded in 2006 in Philadelphia, Slurve is a web development studio led by Tom Rose, a seasoned developer with over two decades of experience in crafting custom websites and CMS-driven solutions. Tom personally manages every client project, avoiding intermediaries, and specializes in WordPress and HubSpot CMS, focusing on custom-built themes emphasizing simplicity, performance, and user-friendliness. Beyond coding, he actively shapes design choices, accessibility, performance, and user experience. Tom’s approach involves deeply understanding client needs, team dynamics, and business success metrics, fostering enduring client partnerships. Operating from his West Philadelphia home office, Tom is also open to onsite collaboration. The company name, Slurve, draws inspiration from a dynamic baseball pitch, reflecting creativity and precision in their work.
