OUR STORY
Founded in 1997 by Jim Infantino, Slabmedia emerged from his dual passions as a graphic designer and musician seeking to create dynamic, aesthetically compelling websites that reflected the essence of a band’s music. After winning a New England Web Design award for his innovative site, Jim realized many musicians desired similarly personalized platforms yet needed a way to easily update their content independently. Motivated by this, he developed Slabmedia's web publishing system starting in 2002, learning all necessary skills himself to ensure a user-friendly and adaptable tool suitable for various clients. Over time, Slabmedia evolved into a platform that views websites as living entities—structured yet flexible—that grow coherently with content, empowering users to maintain an engaging and organized online presence without external assistance.
