Their internal team produced monthly static reports covering various areas such as order entry, inventory, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. This absence of self-service reporting left retailers and sales representatives unable to effectively manage their orders. Keen's leadership recognized the need to extend Power BI reporting to retailers while minimizing costs associated with licensing. Additionally, the administrative and IT teams faced challenges in managing user permissions. With an anticipated 1500 users needing reports of varying complexity and frequency, Keen sought a standalone Power BI portal solution that could handle numerous business functions and offer a user-friendly layout for all reports. They needed a Power BI solution that would enable internal staff to efficiently fulfill requests from retailers and sales reps with accurate and cohesive data analytics. Homegrown Organic Farms Utilizes Power Apps to Stand Out in Their Field Homegrown Organic (HGO) Farms is an employee-owned distributor of fresh fruits, representing over 100 farmers across more than 7,000 acres in California and Oregon. The ability to adapt swiftly to supply chain changes is essential for HGO, which necessitated complete and immediate visibility into every aspect of their operations. Comprehensive Reporting Clarifies Varied Data “Everyone at HGO sought greater insight from our data,” explained Mason Brady, HGO’s CFO and supply chain director. “We needed a way to access real-time data from our ERP and other sources to leverage critical decision points and metrics for better business operations.” During their search for solutions a few years ago, Mason recognized SkyPoint CSG as a frontrunner in the industry and opted to collaborate with their team of consultants due to their proficiency not only in Power BI but throughout the entire Power Platform.
