The main challenge for RecoveryLink™ was creating a flexible system that could cater to a wide range of rehabilitation program requirements. Each participant's experience is distinct, with various electronic records monitoring their progress. The difficulty was in developing a system that could adjust to different organizational data flows while ensuring the integrity and accessibility of each individual's recovery journey. To address this, a groundbreaking clinical management application named SOAR was introduced, designed specifically for addiction recovery. SOAR serves as a personalized recovery aid for healthcare providers, combining personal and clinical information to create customized recovery programs and facilitate effective progress tracking, all focused around a unique Recovery Score Index. The technology stack includes Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery, Firebase, Firestore, as well as React, Node JS, MySQL, Hevo Data Pipelines, Google Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and HL7 FHIR. The significant positive impact of SOAR is reflected in its extensive adoption and success rates. So far, more than 82,000 participants have benefited from SOAR in their recovery processes, with over 3,000 medical staff utilizing this tool across more than 180 medical centers, representing a major advancement in recovery program management.
