Our client sought our expertise to create a solution designed for two distinct groups: small business owners and their financial advisors. They had high expectations for a groundbreaking user experience that would provide a seamless journey from beginning to end, recognizing that user experience (UX) was vital to the product's success or failure. With this in mind, we developed the prospect and customer experience from scratch, focusing on simplicity in every detail. We aimed to deliver a clean, modern solution with user-friendly features that aligned with the client’s human-centered brand philosophy. The application was developed using React and Ruby on Rails and included integration with various APIs and a third-party service to enhance customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities. Our team also produced a Google Data Studio reporting tool, enabling Principal to easily monitor all relevant metrics. Furthermore, we involved multiple user groups to test the website and provide feedback to refine the content effectively. They collaborated with Shift to outline the requirements for a new mobile app designed for customer engagement. Approach: Shift partnered with Yanmar's global and national teams to develop a user-friendly and dynamic app that serves as a central hub for Yanmar customers. Solution: The app, built using React Native with a Salesforce backend, facilitates equipment registration, dealer location services, and customer interaction. Shift teamed up with Spinutech and Traction on Demand to ensure smooth integration, single sign-on (SSO), adherence to ADA standards, and consistent branding. Outcome: Launched in October 2022, the app continues to be enhanced with features such as QR code-based equipment registration, field service capabilities, and dealer services.
