Thumbtack, a pioneering company in the $500 billion home services industry, embraced a "Virtual-First" workplace post-pandemic while prioritizing employee connection and engagement. To nurture company culture, they partnered exclusively with Sequence to create impactful in-person events, highlighted by Camp Thumbtack—a three-day, company-wide off-site in Denver for over 600 employees. This inaugural event, born from ten months of strategic planning and creative development, featured diverse activities like yoga, rock climbing, camp-themed storytelling, dance parties, and an employee awards ceremony. Camp Thumbtack successfully fostered authentic relationships, celebrating Thumbtack's mission and culture. The event was acclaimed by leadership and employees alike, marking a powerful milestone in uniting Thumbtackers beyond the virtual workspace and shaping future in-person experiences.

Center For Reproductive Rights

The first event Sequence collaborated on with the Center was their annual Gala, hosted by Maria Cardona, a CNN commentator and board member of the Center for Reproductive Rights. Sequence recorded a live segment featuring Nancy Northup, the Center's President, which was combined with pre-recorded material and shared on our platform for viewers to enjoy. Our team designed graphics, transitions, and video content that effectively showcased the compelling stories of women advocating for reproductive rights worldwide on the virtual stage. We also arranged for gift baskets of wine and chocolates to be sent to speakers beforehand, and some live fundraising appeals from our emcee helped the organization exceed their fundraising targets. After producing the Center's annual gala in New York, we went on to create their benefits in LA and San Francisco, where actress, producer, and LGBTQ+ activist Laverne Cox served as the emcee for the LA event. We integrated a donation window into the Brandlive platform as part of our additional fundraising strategies, helped develop the dynamic run-of-show for the event, and our design team prepared the FAQ document and holding slides. We’re excited to bring the Center for Reproductive Rights' next in-person event to fruition!

BNP Paribas Global Markets American Conference

BNP Paribas had intended to hold their 2020 Global Markets Conference in person; however, due to COVID-19, this became unfeasible. Consequently, Sequence collaborated with the global bank to create a virtual version of their main conference. Initially planned as a one-day event, it was adapted to occur over a week with shorter segments. Each session was streamed live in real-time, which was essential given the rapidly evolving global situation. The technical production for each segment was tailored with distinct presets, picture-in-picture formats, and integrated graphics. Notable speakers included Valerie Jarrett, Karl Rove, Andrew Ross Sorkin, and Ginni Rometty.
