Chocolate Packaging Design

We created a completely fresh design for Nelina chocolates by integrating specific printing techniques with new product renders, resulting in eye-catching packaging that highlights the quality of the chocolate through intricate details. For the design of Nelino milk chocolate packaging, we produced entirely new renders tailored for rotogravure printing. During colour separation, which involved nine channels, we separated renders from other elements to allow for on-the-spot adjustments during the initial printing run. The Senso team oversaw the print management and proofing process. We implemented specialized printing techniques for chocolates in paper boxes, such as gold foil stamping, blind embossing, and matte gold (using Pantone metallic colour printed directly on semi-coated paper), which gave the packaging a distinctive finish and upscale appearance. Recognizing the challenges of packaging design, we developed a unique workflow to enhance the creative process and facilitate client communication. This includes a thorough project briefing, collaboration on visual direction with the client, and optimization of all design elements, text, and print management. Our aim is to ensure the final printed and packaged product aligns perfectly with the 3D graphic model prototype.

Nivea

Each year, we create sales folders for Nivea, a leading global cosmetics brand. We develop catalogues for five Southern European markets, featuring over 400 SKUs each. This task involves managing a significant amount of files and data to produce the catalogues in a timely manner. The complexity arises from handling five distinct markets, each with over 400 products, presenting both technical and organizational challenges.

Through a redesign of the logo typography, the Senso team revitalized the Polar brand. We overhauled the entire line of frozen products and developed a fresh visual identity for the secondary brand. Additionally, the Senso team is focused on crafting digital communications for Polar Food. Building a brand necessitates forward-thinking in terms of communication strategies and fostering client relationships. In a competitive landscape, effective marketing communications are crucial for success and must be meticulously planned and executed. By aligning the packaging design with all other graphic elements, we established a cohesive brand image with a compelling new aesthetic. We consider ourselves a team of creative individuals enthusiastic about innovative ideas that support digital and fin-tech companies. However, the structure was more of a humorous take on previous centuries; initially, everything produced was perceived negatively, while the applications were intended to convey epic introductions.
