SBFN BFN is a global organization focused on evaluating the ESG performance of different countries through surveys conducted with its members, such as central banks and associations. They identified challenges regarding the clarity of the data collected from these surveys and the ineffective presentation of insights. In response, SELK GLOBAL developed a modern, user-friendly, and fully customized Drupal-based survey tool. This new tool is set to greatly enhance the survey process and improve the public presentation of the findings. The outcomes of this software development project for an online survey platform include: - Creation of public dashboards using PowerBI. - Development of a web-based survey tool. - Training for staff to manage the platform. The project primarily utilized English, with plans to include support for Chinese and Arabic for certain aspects of the solution.

Standardbred Canada

This organization was established in 1909 through the merger of its two national bodies, The Canadian Trotting Association and The Canadian Standardbred Horse Society, primarily to oversee the official registry of Standardbred horses in Canada. Their custom website features a database with archived materials dating back to the early 1900s. As the central repository for vast amounts of data, they had very little flexibility and could not afford to lose access to it, even momentarily. Compounding this challenge were numerous evolving requirements. Once SELK was chosen as the primary web development vendor for Standardbred, we migrated their website from Drupal 6 to Drupal 8, as requested. During this migration, we recognized a new business opportunity, expanded their business model, and implemented it in the project's second phase. We integrated all existing modules, creating a cohesive customer experience. Additionally, we developed an Auction module, which boosted website traffic by 50% and attracted new audience demographics. Currently, the migration of the Standardbred website to the latest Drupal 10 version is in progress. The project team comprises three backend developers, one frontend developer, one solution architect, one DevOps engineer, two QA specialists, and one Business Analyst overseeing project management. After completing the migration to Drupal 8, the second phase was executed in six stages over the past year.

In 2013, the United Nations General Assembly declared a day to sign the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) as UN World Wildlife Day, aimed at celebrating and raising awareness about the planet's wildlife. This day has evolved into the most significant annual global event focused on wildlife. To support this initiative, the World Wildlife Day website was created to encourage similar events worldwide. SELK was chosen to revamp the World Wildlife Day website, redesigning its entire structure and upgrading it to the latest Drupal 9 version. The client initially estimated a minimum timeline of 6 months for the project. However, we completed all requirements within 8 weeks, which included the discovery phase, design, both front-end and back-end development, integrating a specific UN street-level map, an events calendar, and other features, as well as product release, training, and launch, all based on the original WBS plan. A team of 5 members from SELK was assigned to this project, including 1 UX/UI designer, 1 backend developer, 1 frontend developer, 1 QA, and 1 project manager.
