We operate a retail golf store in Southwest Florida, offering golf equipment, apparel, club repairs, and more. OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE: What goals or objectives did you engage ROXERS to achieve? To design, develop, and launch a decoupled front-end e-commerce website. SOLUTION: How did you come across ROXERS? Through Upwork. Why did you choose ROXERS over other options? They had excellent ratings, their pricing aligned with our budget, and their portfolio showcased high-quality work. How many ROXERS team members worked on this project? Between 2 and 5. Please describe the project's scope in detail, including key deliverables. The goal of our collaboration with Roxers was to create a minimal viable product (MVP) for our e-commerce site. This involved: a Figma UX design for the front-end experience, and a React/Next.JS/Tailwind/Node.JS decoupled front-end application that integrates with our e-commerce system provider, Lightspeed Retail. RESULTS & FEEDBACK: What measurable outcomes indicate progress or success from the project? We achieved a fully functional e-commerce website that enables customers to purchase our products, which met our MVP goals, all delivered by Roxers. Describe their project management. Did they meet deadlines? How responsive were they to your needs? Roxers managed our project seamlessly from beginning to end, offering necessary project management support throughout. The team was efficient in delivering our planned tasks. We worked in weekly sprints and held regular SCRUM meetings as required (2-3 times per week). The ROXERS team excelled in their responsiveness and adeptly shifted priorities as needed during the project. What was your main method of communication with ROXERS? Primarily through virtual meetings and email or messaging apps. What impressed you the most about this company? The standout feature of Roxers is the remarkable skill and competence of their developers. Repeatedly, they demonstrated exceptional efficiency in building project features and resolving challenges quickly with technically sound solutions.
