**Project Overview** Rocketech developed a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for Humm.ly, a scientifically-grounded platform focused on music therapy. This service utilizes playlists curated by certified music therapists aimed at alleviating stress, assisting with sleep, and enhancing mood. **Our Contributions** We handled UX/UI Design, Illustrations, Animations, Mobile Development, and Web Support, utilizing a tech stack that includes ReactJS, PHP7, and Swift. The outcome was a test-ready MVP featuring core functionality and an appealing design. Our team laid the foundation for ongoing development and testing by conducting extensive market research, defining strategies, and creating innovative designs. We implemented a cost-effective collaboration approach, where the founder worked directly with team members. The Rocketech design team completely overhauled the application, improving essential business processes, while the development and testing team addressed technical debt and enhanced existing features. We also created and evaluated new user scenarios, expanding reach to new target audiences. **Results** The final application became a music phenomenon, garnering acclaim from outlets like HuffPost, Grammy Awards, Inc., Mashable, and Forbes. It achieved an average rating of 4.9 on the App Store based on 1,300 reviews and was featured in the top "Apps We Love 2019" category on the App Store.

Dice Chess

Project Overview: Dice Chess is an innovative twist on traditional chess, incorporating an element of chance. Users can place a bet and play against random opponents, but unlike standard chess, players must roll dice to decide which pieces they are allowed to move. Our Contributions: UX/UI Design, Web Development, Backend Support Technical Stack: React.js, React Hooks, PHP Challenge: The client approached us with an outdated product and requested a complete overhaul to create a modern web application. The Rocketech development team examined the existing architecture, structure, protocol, and data exchange format of the old system. Our aim was to revitalize obsolete features while ensuring the safety of users' financial transactions. Solution: We revitalized both the frontend and backend of a 25-year-old application, updated the design, and optimized the interface for mobile devices. Modifications were made to the backend, aligning it with the modern frontend. We integrated a mobile-friendly layout, implemented CSS-based 3D animations, and enabled fullscreen mode for iPhones. Players can now create group games across three formats: Classic, Double-Up, and Tournament. We also introduced a feature to suggest the next chess move and allow for bids and rematch requests. For client security, we ensured that the game progress halts during any server-side disruptions. Results: The Rocketech team successfully delivered comprehensive functionality, encompassing everything from user registration to game creation and participation. During the project, we addressed backend bugs, added new gaming features, and enhanced the 3D animations for a game originally created in 1995. We also managed to double the game's speed on the client side. The upcoming goal is to enhance the backend speed by 2-3 times and scale the project further.
