Our Journey Roboto Studio was founded as a response to sluggish agencies and complicated CMS structures. We embraced a headless approach long before it became trendy, ultimately choosing Next.js and Sanity as our tools. Today, we create fast and scalable, editorial-focused websites driven by AI and efficient workflows, free from unnecessary clutter, broken previews, and content meant only for developers. We collaborate with trusted technologies, continually enhance our skills through ongoing education, and prioritize speed, clarity, and genuine control for editors.

Sunesis - A wilmott Dixon company

Hot swapping blocks Sunesis, a subsidiary of Wilmott Dixon, assigned us the task of creating a fast, efficient, and modular website to promote modular school construction. We took on their Wordpress site development in 2018 and later that year focused on transforming it into an exceptionally optimized HUGO website. Every component of the site is hot-swappable and can be rearranged thanks to the user-friendly markdown/HUGO framework. This enables the Sunesis team to quickly add new sections while simultaneously backing up each version through the integration of Forestry, HUGO, and Git. Since the launch of the site, it has supported various marketing campaigns, developed and refined by We Are Marketable to ensure that every page is optimized for SEO with robust data to support it. The use of ultra-fast markdown display facilitates a consistent backup system where every change is logged by both developers and content creators, effectively creating a seamless integration with Git and providing an efficient way to backup, collaborate, and grow. The site is significantly faster, loading approximately three times quicker than the original Wordpress version, and has virtually no maintenance costs as it is static with no moving parts, supported by a global content delivery network for optimal access. One of the main challenges was maintaining search functionality within a static site. We aimed to allow users to search a variety of data, including blog posts and types of modular schools. We successfully achieved this by utilizing JavaScript to index all the pages, allowing for future data retrieval.

Pharmaseal - Hugo Showcase

**Introduction:** We collaborated with HMA, a Barnsley-based agency, to create an exceptional custom solution for Pharmaseal. Our discussions were quite ambitious, focusing on transforming the Pharmaseal website into a marketing tool to advocate for a CTMS solution, an area that had not been explored before. It was certainly a challenging endeavor. However, at Roboto Studio, we embrace challenges, and we excitedly talked about how the website would function. Starting with wireframes from HMA, we chose to utilize a modern static site generator known as HUGO. **Everyone Loves UX:** Since Pharmaseal values the involvement of all its staff—whether by sharing development insights on LinkedIn or writing articles to advance the Clinical Trial Management field—we aimed to create an effortless experience for them to easily add blogs, marketing materials, and even short videos to the site. We opted for Forestry as the content management system (CMS) because of its user-friendly interface, quick and trackable content updates via markdown files, and seamless integration with HUGO. **It’s Not a Grammy, But It’ll Do:** We were thrilled with how actively Pharmaseal engaged in developing the site, so much so that we submitted it to the HUGO showcase reel, and to our delight, we were accepted. We’re not ones to brag, but here’s a little honk honk!

Ydentity

Intro Ydentity is a blockchain-based identity verification app that prioritizes user experience (UX) to ensure a straightforward onboarding process and an easy way to track data usage. In collaboration with the product owner from Clearscore, we refined designs to create a user-friendly hub for monitoring data, comprehending digital footprints, and enhancing the security of sensitive documents. We established a rapid feedback mechanism by sketching initial designs on an iPad, transferring them to Sketch via AirDrop, and viewing a high-fidelity version of the low-fidelity mockup in real time. This efficient process enabled us to produce nearly 100 detailed wireframe screens in about 40 hours. Initially focusing on building the minimum viable product (MVP), we decided to target native iOS development due to a shift in our tech stack, with plans to later adapt the app for Android. Consequently, we concentrated on utilizing native iPhone features, such as face recognition, while adhering diligently to human interface guidelines throughout the process.
