Good Wine - it's better to be different than to be
Since 2007, GoodWine has been the largest supplier of wine and spirits in Europe. However, the company sought to expand into new areas. GoodWine is not just a retail store; it features not only wine sections, a curated wine room, and a whiskey library but also departments dedicated to groceries, fresh produce, seafood, meat, and gourmet foods. Additionally, it includes the Bakehouse bakery, Yellow Place coffee shop, and several restaurants such as Lucky, Chief's Table, 101 Wine Bar, as well as Shima sushi bar and a sommelier school. To represent this diverse space, the company requires a corporate website.
Progress has been made in developing the site, which aims to showcase the company's wide range of operations. We began by creating a project block diagram to outline all the details clearly. Each division of the company was placed in its own section on the site for easy access. Customers can find the information they need or scan a QR code on the site to download a mobile app featuring the complete product lineup for each division. Unfortunately, one of the warehouses was affected by an airstrike during the war in Ukraine, resulting in significant product loss. The client requested that any remaining undamaged goods be highlighted in a separate SELECTIVE section, with 30% of the proceeds from these items being donated to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We included a filter to help customers quickly locate products within this section.
Another focus for the company is the sale of organic products, which are featured in delicious meals. To facilitate this, we developed a "Recipes" section that allows customers to prepare restaurant-quality dishes at home. Each recipe includes step-by-step instructions with photos and detailed descriptions, as well as a QR code to easily order all the necessary ingredients for home delivery. As the company continues to grow and evolve, the website will be regularly updated and improved.
