The right Hire for the right seat
The main challenge was to replicate the in-person interview experience while eliminating bias in decision-making. One critical aspect was maintaining eye contact, which is integral to physical interviews. To address this, we developed a user-friendly interview screen after hundreds of hours of effort, enabling candidates to maintain eye contact while taking notes, providing contextual advice, and assisting interviewers in conducting structured interviews. We recognized early on the significance of qualitative data and created an in-depth analysis of candidate profiles, facilitating comprehensive comparisons of their skills, experience, personality traits, and compatibility with the role. This includes integrating graded responses, salary, and education with sentiment analysis, critical conversation points, speech analysis, and more. Our goal is to provide users with a thorough understanding of each candidate. We are continuously improving the completeness and usefulness of candidate profiles and have also established an engaging method for comparing candidates. Cultural fit within a company is more crucial than ever, so we support our users in creating, reviewing, and assessing candidates’ cultural fit on the same platform, allowing for better comparisons and informed decisions. Overall, we believe that presenting the right information in an effective manner is essential for sound decision-making, aiming to reduce bias in the hiring process to ensure that the best candidate is placed in the right position. Additionally, we have created a scalable design system for Hirelogic that can help expand their audience and enhance other aspects of hiring, such as applicant management. In summary, we defined, collaborated, tested, and launched the leading hiring and decision-making tool in just six months.
