Rebranding

Beije

Beije is Turkey’s first subscription-based brand for menstrual products and has quickly emerged as a beloved brand since its inception. Their empathetic brand voice has resonated with consumers, and their commitment to addressing menstrual poverty has been well received. However, their earlier communication approach was somewhat timid and apologetic. As a brand aiming to challenge societal taboos, it was time for a rebranding. What we did: RESEARCH: We thoroughly examined all content related to the brand, including their websites, email newsletters, online news articles, social media, customer surveys, and any available documents. The aim of this discovery process was to understand how the brand presents itself. Next, we conducted private interviews with all brand members to gather insights on their perceptions of the brand and their aspirations for it. This helped us gain a clearer understanding of the brand's culture, audience, and products. STRATEGY: We formulated a new strategy that outlined the brand's purpose, vision, and values. We repositioned the brand to encompass a community beyond just menstrual products. Utilizing scientific research and sociological insights, we segmented the audience to develop new, detailed personas. VERBAL IDENTITY: We envisioned the brand as a person, crafting its personality and narrative. We established the brand's voice and core messages to serve as guidelines for its expression. The new motto encapsulating the brand's identity became “Think, feel, change.” CONSULTANCY: We collaborated with the founders throughout this process, aiming to guide the brand toward transformation while assisting clients in understanding and implementing new brand assets. We also devised strategies for potential crises and enhancements in customer experience. We conducted several training sessions with employees to facilitate the rebranding, and we supported departments such as social media and customer relations in bringing the new strategy to life.

Branding

Byqee

**Branding of Byqee** **PRE-BRANDING:** Byqee is a brand that offers e-bike conversion kits, enabling users to transform any bicycle into an e-bike in just minutes. Prior to rebranding, Byqee relied on a function-driven communication strategy that failed to connect with its target audience. Its visual identity was neither engaging nor professional. **WHAT WE DID:** **Research:** We began our process with thorough research, reviewing all available documents and conducting interviews with the founders and staff. This research phase provided valuable insights into the current audience and the brand’s challenges. **STRATEGY:** We developed a new strategy for Byqee, focusing on the narrative of revolutionizing urban transportation rather than merely discussing battery capacity. We positioned the brand as a solution to traffic congestion, overcrowded subways, and long waits at bus stops. Through audience segmentation, we crafted varied personas to effectively communicate the brand’s message. **VERBAL IDENTITY:** We shaped the brand's personality to inspire individuals, conveying the message that “Life is missed when stuck in traditional transportation. Travel should be about inspiration.” All core messages were constructed around this concept. **VISUAL IDENTITY:** Following the strategy and storytelling phase, we revamped the entire visual identity, including the brand logo. We designed a more vibrant visual identity compared to the previous one, ensuring the new logo embodied a spirit that is unconventional, playful, and open to exploration. The fresh logo emerged in a dynamic, simple, yet striking design. We completed Byqee's new visual identity with a cohesive logo, typography, and color palette reflective of its energetic essence.

Social Media

Temiz Social Media

CHALLENGE: Temiz is an online shoe-care and dry cleaning service. Prior to our involvement in their social media management, the brand resembled its competitors, featuring a bland Instagram profile filled with numerous before-and-after posts. They aimed to make their communication style more engaging and relatable. What did we do? We revamped the social media tone to reflect a younger brand identity, introduced fresh and relevant topics for more captivating content, and focused on themes of cleaning and transformation. We developed a unique communication style and new content formats. The updated strategy incorporated humor and made frequent references to popular culture to resonate with audiences' everyday lives. As a result, the engagement rate surged by over 100% in six months, and Temiz gained 70% more followers. Additionally, through our new reels-based approach, millions engaged with their branded content.
