AI-Powered Driver Onboarding

Freenow by Lyft

FreeNow — AI Document Verification for Driver Onboarding FreeNow utilizes AI-driven document verification for driver onboarding across nine EU countries, achieving an accuracy rate of 95% and over 85% automation. This European mobility platform registers thousands of drivers each month in these regions, requiring validation of six types of documents in more than 200 regional variations and over eight languages. Previously, manual reviews led to delays in activation and compliance risks, while outdated OCR technology struggled to handle multilingual, handwritten, or altered documents effectively. To address these issues, Reckonsys developed an AI-based verification system that integrates a customized version of Google Document AI (designed for layout awareness and tailored to specific countries), along with LLM support (from Gemini, GPT, and Mistral), and a user interface that incorporates human oversight for complex cases. Technology utilized includes Google Document AI, Tesseract, Google Vision OCR, Gemini, GPT, Mistral, OpenCV, Label Studio, Snorkel, Vertex AI, Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Pub/Sub, PromptLayer, Prometheus, and Grafana.

RAG-Powered Sales Chatbot at 5M+ Daily Interaction

Enquirybot

An advanced chatbot that provides a human-like experience, designed with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). EnquiryBot, a UK-based SaaS provider, sought to transform website visitors into qualified sales leads without the need for live chat staff. Traditional static forms often yield poor conversion rates, while rule-based bots can seem robotic and erode trust. The solution needed to be deployable within days for each client, deliver tailored answers based on the customer's specific content, and support thousands of installations. To address this challenge, Reckonsys collaborated closely with the founders from the initial concept and then assumed the roles of CTO and Head of Development. The platform harnesses RAG technology, enabling each chatbot to provide answers based on its specific customer's knowledge base rather than relying on the general knowledge of a language model. Results have been positive: "Reckonsys and their expertise are crucial to our success," said John King, Co-Founder of EnquiryBot (5/5 on Clutch). Engagement included a fixed-price MVP, followed by a time and materials-based dedicated team. Reckonsys acts as the client’s CTO and engineering division.
