Hatom Labs | Lending & Staking Protocol

Hatom is the first decentralized lending and borrowing protocol operating on the MultiversX network (previously known as Elrond). On Hatom, lenders contribute their crypto assets to provide market liquidity, while borrowers can obtain collateralized loans. The process is straightforward: in return for their deposits, investors receive htokens, which function as receipt tokens. These tokens can be added to a liquidity pool to generate interest. The interest earned by htoken suppliers fluctuates based on market conditions and the rates paid by borrowers. Lenders can withdraw their assets anytime if there's enough liquidity in the pool. Conversely, borrowers can access tokens from a pool by depositing collateral in another pool. This allows investors to acquire liquidity without selling their assets, with loans and accrued interest being paid back using the same borrowed tokens. As early participants in MultiversX, the project posed significant challenges for Rather Labs, such as limited documentation and a lack of public knowledge in forums.

TAO Bridge | Blockchain Bridge

We successfully created the TAO Bridge to overcome the limitations experienced by Bittensor blockchain users, who had previously found minimal use for their TAO tokens. By establishing a connection to the MultiversX network, Rather Labs enabled the conversion of TAO tokens into wTAO tokens, which can be utilized in lending and liquid staking protocols, greatly increasing their functionality. The project saw impressive success, with 16 million dollars invested in the protocol and 10 million dollars in transactions within the first hour of its launch. Through careful planning and a step-by-step approach, Rather Labs ensured that the bridge adhered to high-quality standards. Our dedication to innovation and excellence turned obstacles into achievements, setting a new benchmark for blockchain interoperability and utility.
