How to build a solution and get a $4M investment
Overview: Blyp is a Software as a Service (SaaS) company that specializes in virtual data analysis for e-commerce businesses. Its primary objective is to process a vast amount of data concerning stores, customers, products, and marketing, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance performance in real-time. Quema was brought on board to help establish the infrastructure and support the ongoing integration of the product. What challenges did Quema face? Initially, we only had a conceptual idea and a business plan. We needed to accomplish the following:
- Design and architecture for the application
- Development of a robust and scalable IT system that can grow quickly, incorporating multiple dependencies and technologies
- Adherence to safety protocols for handling sensitive data
- Compliance with leading global security standards, such as PCI DSS and GDPR
- Implementation of best practices and cost optimization strategies
- Utilization of modern technologies and optimal cloud solutions
Why was the Blyp team unable to handle this on their own? They lacked the required experience and expertise, as designing advanced, complex projects demands significant knowledge and background. There was also a shortage of qualified personnel, necessitating the involvement of skilled and properly trained individuals. Moreover, managing and processing such intricate systems is critical, as everything must function together seamlessly like a well-oiled machine. Achieving this is possible with proper planning and effective time management.
