Shark Bay World Heritage
World Heritage sites are truly some of the finest places on the planet. Take Shark Bay, renowned for its stunning natural beauty, diverse habitats and species, and its role as a wildlife sanctuary. It’s like a glimpse into the past! However, the existing website for Shark Bay was cluttered with relevant content that was difficult to navigate. The design was outdated, featuring narrow margins and low-quality images. For the new website, the constraints included the use of only two page templates. The client desired a contemporary, full-screen design that would represent the beauty of Shark Bay, prompting them to invite proposals from us and several other agencies. Previously, they used Joomla but sought an easier platform, so we suggested WordPress. As a solution, we developed two templates designed to accommodate varying amounts of text and images. We migrated a substantial amount of data, transferring 233 pages in total, and incorporated accordion dropdowns to manage the larger text sections. Additionally, we updated the images to showcase the stunning landscapes and vibrant colors of Shark Bay.
