Pulsev was established in 2018 by Erik, a project manager with extensive experience in overseeing large-scale Magento projects at a digital agency. He witnessed how cumbersome platforms and large teams often made e-commerce initiatives slower, costlier, and more challenging for both merchants and developers. Recognizing the rise of Shopify among serious merchants, Erik decided to take a bold step: fully commit to a single platform, operate independently, and create a more streamlined solution. This resulted in the creation of Pulsev. Seven years later, we are proud to be a certified Shopify Plus Partner, supported by a small team of experienced Shopify developers and consultants, all with agency backgrounds and a strong aversion to returning to that environment. Our Plus Partner designation is not taken lightly; it signifies the intricate nature of the projects we undertake and the high standards set by Shopify. We focus exclusively on Shopify and Shopify Plus, allowing us to delve deeper into the platform than a generalist agency could. Our expertise has increasingly centered on complex B2B wholesale settings and transitions from platforms such as Magento and WooCommerce—projects where substantial platform experience is crucial.
