Protostar Labs originated in 2019 from a group of passionate engineers and scientists at the Astronomical Society Anonymus who shared a deep interest in space and technology. Initially applying computer vision to analyze astronomical data, they quickly identified broader industrial applications, leading to the company's establishment. Today, Protostar Labs is a multidisciplinary team specializing in computer vision, machine learning, physics, software development, and electronics. With over 25 members and more than 40 projects completed, including four contracts with the European Space Agency, the company consistently advances autonomous, efficient, and reliable technologies for use from orbital missions to extreme terrestrial environments.
