Modernizing A Modern Home Design Experience

Plant Prefab

Key Points: The Objective: To develop a contemporary luxury experience tailored to individual preferences while generating a greater number of marketing qualified leads (MQLs). The Challenge: Creating a remarkable experience without any existing groundwork. The Outcome: Enhanced personalization to improve lead quality. Plant Prefab, a company specializing in modern architecture and sustainable prefabricated homes, has transformed the industry and gained the support of Jeff Bezos. They are recognized for their high design standards and collaborations with award-winning architects. The website was required to enable consumers to discover and appreciate the elegance and quality of their modular homes. Propane aimed to design a product configurator, an interactive 3D home customization tool. Developing a 3D home configurator involved several interconnected obstacles. There was no digital product catalog available or accessible from an inventory system. The configurator needed to calculate material costs per square inch, providing Propane with a chance to establish a foundation for future e-commerce capabilities. Additionally, the 3D solution needed to utilize 3D model files that required reprocessing, showcasing Propane's expertise in workflow definition and mapping. Propane leveraged its research and development skills to create a prototype, as no comprehensive solution existed for designing 3D homes that could accommodate material option changes linked to a database for future updates. Moreover, the solution had to prequalify leads, enabling the sales team to optimize its resources. Lastly, the solution needed to be easily updatable in terms of materials within the content management system (CMS).

Sparking Enterprise Innovation - Design Sprints

Digital Realty

Summary: The Objective: Assisting international teams in imagining the future of customer-facing applications The Challenge: Hosting virtual innovation workshops worldwide The Outcome: An accomplished executive leadership team Digital Realty collaborated with Propane to conduct a series of global design sprints, culminating in team presentations of the top concepts to executive leaders for possible project endorsement. The aims were to boost internal innovation and foster stronger connections among diverse teams around the world. Over a period of two months, Propane organized 30 design sprint workshops with 5 teams. The top ideas were showcased to Digital Realty’s executive team for potential backing. Propane created tailored sprint templates in Figma and guided the sessions using effective facilitation methods and a sense of humor to keep teams on track and engaged. Additionally, we co-developed innovation narratives, leveraging our visual thinking and design skills to turn ideas into actionable stories. We produced supporting wireframes, business requirements, and both 2D and 3D visualizations. For each global team, we arranged multiple sessions to maintain a collaborative atmosphere and provided coaching on how to present innovative ideas to executives. Each team delivered a distinctive presentation that highlighted their creativity while adhering to effective pitch strategies. The discussions that ensued explored the feasibility, viability, and desirability of each concept. Although teams were evaluated and winners recognized, the emphasis was on forging new relationships and integrating market- and brand-enhancing ideas into the corporate strategy.

They sought to establish their brand and credibility in the defense sector through a website, starting with just a logo. Propane was tasked with designing a visually compelling site that appealed to this industry. Carefully selected imagery was essential to ensure situational relevance and foster a mindset centered on the “art of the possible.” Given the need for confidentiality, we employed metaphors, animations, and visuals to represent their sophisticated AI capabilities effectively. Drawing inspiration from shows like Westworld and other sci-fi series, we illustrated the concept of AI as "always on, always thinking." “I was having dinner with one of our major investors, and he couldn't stop raving about how impressive the site was; it truly portrayed the brand effectively.” - John, CEO We swiftly launched the site using our tailored Agile methodology, along with creating sales materials and infographics to highlight their solution's technical aspects. As a result, Modern Intelligence is successfully achieving its ambitious sales targets, broadening its deal pipeline, and enhancing its business growth.
