This narrative revolves around a technology company that plays a vital role in connecting leaders from both public and private sectors with their citizens and employees, though their existing name failed to reflect this purpose. The client approached us with ambitious aspirations but a restrictive name. Together, we determined what their new name needed to communicate. Their adaptable platform and range of customized tools were created to facilitate two-way, real-time multimedia interactions. Consequently, we assisted them in rebranding as Zeteky. The name comes from Atelopus Zeteki, commonly known as the Panamanian Golden Frog, which is an endangered species found in Panama’s rainforests. This frog is known for being social and highly aware of its environment, excelling in communication through sounds and gestures. It is perceptive and responsive, embodying the essence of “Critical Communications.” We particularly liked the name Zeteki because using an animal adds a touch of humanity to a platform that might otherwise seem too technical and sterile. Additionally, its ability to leap up to 20 times its own body length symbolizes a company that is making groundbreaking progress—"leapfrogging" traditional models in the communications technology field. Plus, the Zeteki is simply fascinating.
