SEON
**Summary:** Polyany assisted a fraud prevention platform in creating a Shopify web application and integrating it into their ecosystem. Utilizing PHP, React, and NodeJS, they built and refined the integration on AWS. Thanks to Polyany's support, the client can now offer their services to hundreds of merchants via the web app. Their team leverages their expertise with the platform to help the client achieve optimal service implementation and maintains regular communication with them regarding progress.
**Description:** The client is a startup specializing in fraud prevention solutions. We provide them with a REST API that delivers data related to customers, purchases, and transactions (such as IP address, email, phone number, address, items bought, transaction amount, currency, etc.). The API responds with a risk score and a recommendation to either approve, review, or decline an order.
**Business Problem:** The challenge is to create a plugin for Shopify and Shopify Plus. Ideally, this solution would send data to the client's API, receive feedback, display the risk score and decision, and link to the transaction within the Shopify back office. Additionally, customers should have the option to automatically cancel and refund an order based on a specific fraud score.
**Solution:** A web application has been developed for the Shopify app store that collects order and payment data from Shopify. It transmits this data to seon.io, and upon receiving a response, updates the order in Shopify. The application integrates scripts into the Shopify client side, processes webhooks, and is capable of handling refunds.
