On February 23, Alan Knitowski, Luan Dang, and Alan Kane established Phunware to capitalize on a significant and strategic opportunity in information technology: developing a software platform that enables enterprises to engage, manage, and monetize customer experience journeys via mobile, ultimately enhancing brand interactions, business performance, and revenue. The migration to mobile prompted Phunware's founders to ponder the potential of utilizing their software platform within the app portfolios of major global companies and brands to build an extensive database of proprietary Phunware IDs for every device connected to networks worldwide, allowing for real-time, personalized outreach to individuals both indoors and outdoors. By consistently addressing the demands of Fortune 5000 clients to design and manage transformative mobile experiences for their app users, we have successfully broadened Phunware's offerings to equip brands with everything they need to create engaging experiences throughout the mobile application lifecycle—from strategy and development to user discovery, acquisition, and data-driven engagement and monetization.
