About the Team
OUR STORY
Founded in 1986 by Peter and Ann Doughan in a family garage, Patioland began as a small enterprise specializing in patio enclosures and pergolas. Initially staffing just two employees, the company moved to a rented factory in Seven Hills by 1989, and in 1992, as the team grew to eight, they acquired their own premises in Marayong. Continued expansion led to a larger facility in Blacktown, where Patioland employed 15 full-time staff devoted to pergolas, decks, patios, custom awnings, and more. Renowned for quality, they've received multiple awards using the Hunter Douglas Shademaster Patio system. Committed to top materials and expert craftsmanship, Patioland collaborates closely with clients to design outdoor spaces that enhance their homes, offering free quotes and consultations
