Parallactic Consulting

Since 2006, Parallactic has delivered tailored technology solutions for startups, small businesses, academics, and museums. We excel in crafting custom prototypes, especially using Ruby on Rails, supporting early-stage startups by collaborating closely with their in-house developers. Our expertise includes building and maintaining specialized tools like point-of-sale and job management systems, incorporating live and historical data alongside analytical features. We assist academics in collaborative data collection through legacy integrations, enhancing data accessibility and visibility. Custom reporting capabilities we develop allow real-time insights and automate tasks such as invoicing and inventory updates, empowering clients to act promptly. Utilizing respected open-source technologies including MySQL and GNU/Linux, we adapt to diverse data formats, transforming legacy information into modern, searchable, and shareable platforms.
