Our Story: Pangolin was founded by David Phillips and Will Cookson with the goal of crafting uniquely straightforward creative campaigns. Frustrated by the inflexible methods of traditional agencies, they aimed to establish a unique type of agency that enables clients to produce award-winning campaigns without the cumbersome agency procedures. They encourage their team to prioritize meaningful, commercially-oriented discussions with clients rather than getting caught up in the internal processes typical of larger agency networks.

Pangolin collaborated with Absolut to enhance global recognition for the launch of the Absolut Haring Artist Edition bottle, showcasing Keith Haring's original artwork from the 1980s. We settled on a concept that was both straightforward and impactful: "Haring Cross," which involved a 48-hour takeover of Charing Cross tube station for the debut of the #AbsolutHaring Artist Edition, transforming the daily commute into a boundary-less art exhibit. The choice of the underground was significant, as it was in the 80s that Keith Haring first made his presence known by infusing New York's subways with his vibrant chalk drawings. The takeover displayed two of Haring's original hashtag Absolut pieces in the ticket hall, accessible to all. Visitors were even encouraged to rip a poster off the wall and take a piece of art home 🔥 Absolut holds the belief that creativity serves as a unifying force capable of broadening perspectives and bringing people together, and this event perfectly exemplified that notion.

The Codfather

We were tasked with integrating Frank’s RedHot sauce into the UK’s food scene and demonstrating its ability to elevate any meal. The Strategy: Fish and chips, rated the UK’s top favorite dish of 2024, is not only a beloved classic but also a cherished part of British heritage known for its simplicity. The Implementation: Danny Dyer, known as “The Codfather,” spearheaded the Fish and Frank’s initiative, our spicy take on the traditional fish and chips, featuring Frank’s-infused batter for an extra kick. The Outcome: Following The Codfather’s endorsement, we launched a Fish & Frank’s shop in Soho where Danny distributed free lunches, then expanded nationwide for a month across all seven Harry Ramsden’s locations, including a comprehensive brand takeover of the flagship store in Bournemouth.

Don't Drink and Dive

The Brief: Malibu sought to raise widespread awareness among consumers for their responsible drinking initiative, "Don't Drink and Dive," while informing them about the risks of alcohol consumption near water. The Strategy: We aimed to create a striking news moment that would quickly capture attention post-Tom Daley’s retirement from the Olympics, while effectively conveying the serious water safety concerns in the UK. The Execution: We traveled to the iconic Brighton Beach to photograph the five-time Olympic medalist in front of a 10-foot stone statue, emphasizing the alarming statistic that alcohol is involved in 1 in 4 drownings in the UK. Results: This was followed by a strategic media outreach, complete with various campaign materials; notable highlights included extensive interviews on Sky News and BBC Radio, two significant media partnerships, and widespread coverage in consumer and lifestyle publications, marking the most successful responsible drinking launch in Pernod Ricard’s history.
