Developed and executed a 100Gbps IPsec gateway utilizing FD.io VPP with encryption accelerated by hardware. This solution accommodates over 10,000 simultaneous tunnels, integrates IKEv2 key exchange, supports XFRM kernel for hybrid environments, and includes GRE/VxLAN overlay encapsulation within IPsec. VoLTE Capture & Kafka Streaming

Developed a VoLTE capture pipeline based on DPDK 18.11, featuring Kafka routing for individual subscribers. Implemented multi-queue receive with RSS (16 queues per port and 4 RX cores). Employed IP hash filtering through rte_hash for both IPv4 and IPv6, with an optional LRU cache. Utilized a ring buffer for forwarding (131K entries) to the Kafka lcore. Created custom composite Kafka messages in batches of 500KB using librdkafka 0.11.1, incorporating per-IP topic routing. Achieved a sustained Kafka throughput of approximately 295 MB/sec with no packet loss on both Huawei and Dell hardware. Inline Traffic Analytics for Cellular

Developed a DPDK 19.11.2 inline analytics engine featuring dual-port bidirectional flow tracking for cellular backhaul. The engine uses per-queue rte_hash flow tables (1,024 entries) to eliminate the need for cross-core locks. A dedicated RTT hash (2,048 entries) employs a compound key consisting of {expected_ack, client_port} to achieve cycle-accurate measurements of TCP round-trip time. An aggregation logical core for each user operates every second, providing exports of directional byte and packet counts, connection stats, and average round-trip time. The flow lifecycle is managed with rte_timer, incorporating TCP timeouts of 100 seconds and UDP timeouts of 30 seconds.
