Payment Direct transforms digital tips into cash for employees who require immediate access to their earnings, all while smoothly integrating with management software. Evention LLC aimed to create a consumer-facing product with a strong brand identity that appeals to both HR managers and the users of their software. Pen and Lens crafted a brand identity that is contemporary and inviting. The warm tone engages customers, while its professional appearance makes it an appealing option for HR managers seeking to attract quality employees by offering more flexible payment solutions.

Elite International Soccer Training Brand Identity

Elite International Soccer Training

Elite International Soccer Training aimed to establish itself as a leading soccer training facility for children of all ages. They sought a professional graphic design system that would engage kids and encourage their participation. After years of development, they wanted to create a compelling logo and brand identity that could adapt to their environmental needs and enhance their social media presence, as well as their apparel and marketing materials. To begin this branding process, we designed a strong logo that would serve as the foundation of their identity. The logo features two custom-drawn “E”s that, when mirrored, form a perfect square and create appealing negative space, which cleverly forms a capital "I." We extracted the dot from the top of the "I" to symbolize the soccer ball used in their training. This gestalt mark represents an “E” for Elite, an “I” for international, and the soccer ball at the top, which is also integrated into the typography. For instance, in the logotype, we utilized the dot from the letter “I” or the period in “intl.” to align with the logo. The typography conveys a tone of strength and stability, aligning with Elite's expertise in soccer training. While the solution is straightforward, as Elite International Soccer Training has expanded its brand across apparel, social media, video, and other platforms, it has become more recognizable in the Treasure Valley. This logo and brand identity strategy has helped establish their presence in the community and will grow alongside Elite as they continue to develop outstanding athletes.

Reliable Waste Service Brand Identity

Reliable Waste Service was a concept that had been developing for several years. Founder Aaron Hamstra believed that waste management is a fundamental service for any community. He collaborated with Pen and Lens Design to create a visual identity that would convey a brand that is both friendly and modest. The name ‘Reliable Waste Service’ is quite lengthy, but every word carries significant meaning. The design elements—a circle, semi-circle, and slice—reflect the rhythmic sound of the brand name while effectively capturing the viewer's attention. Generally, people prefer not to think about where their trash goes; they simply want it disposed of. The striking yellow circle serves as a reminder of who can best handle that task. Accompanying the geometric shapes is a friendly typeface that aligns with the company's aspirations. In a society increasingly focused on automation, Reliable Waste Service aims to prioritize manual labor to provide employment within the community and strengthen its connections with those it serves.
