A prominent highway toll company came to Out.Cloud with a significant issue: their outdated infrastructure couldn't handle the increasing transaction volume, security requirements, and demand for agility. Their existing systems were inflexible, expensive to expand, and hindered the introduction of new digital services. In response, our team developed a modern platform on AWS utilizing OpenShift to operate their microservices. This solution merged the scalability of AWS with the governance and orchestration capabilities of OpenShift. To achieve this, we designed and implemented a self-service portal, with the frontend developed using Python and the Django framework. The backend consisted of a combination of Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD automation, enabling data scientists to select the infrastructure components they need.
