Orion Development is a small, engineering-focused software studio located in Berlin, Germany, operating with a remote-first team of five engineers across five different countries. We create the essential "quiet infrastructure" that supports businesses, including backends, admin panels, internal tools, automation, APIs, and integrations. Our goal is to replace spreadsheets, manual copy-paste processes, and fragile legacy systems with reliable, maintainable software that teams can depend on for the long haul. We are not an agency and do not engage in account-management theatrics; our clients communicate directly with the engineers responsible for designing and delivering the systems. We provide our services in small, visible increments, featuring actual demos, predictable milestones, and complete transparency through tracking, repositories, documentation, and monitoring. Our engineering principles are straightforward: clean architecture, high performance, maintainability, and dependable functionality. Common projects include operational dashboards, workflow automation, data synchronization across tools, custom admin interfaces, and enhancing or modernizing existing systems.
