As a leading player in the automotive lighting and accessories market, ORACLE Lighting has established a significant online presence. However, resellers have leveraged their products to clutter Google search results, effectively occupying valuable advertising space. Although their previous agency delivered profitable outcomes, ORACLE Lighting sought to achieve a higher return on investment (ROI) in their digital marketing efforts. **Strategy & Feedback** Upon launching our campaign with ORACLE Lighting, we implemented Google Search ads with a strong emphasis on branded searches, which notably improved ROI and reduced reseller visibility. ORACLE Lighting now consistently ranks at or near the top of search results pages, featuring text and product listing ads alongside organic listings. This enhanced their control over the search environment and reinforced the company as the primary source for its products. Additionally, the revamped Google Shopping campaigns employed ten segmented product categories, up from three in the former campaign, allowing for more precise product groupings. This revised bidding structure resulted in a broader range of products being displayed for relevant searches. **Results** When ORACLE Lighting sought our assistance, their previous campaign yielded a return on ad spend (ROAS) of 588%. Within just six months of working with Online Optimism, ROAS soared to 933%. Our dynamic branded search campaign directed interest straight to the source. Additionally, core products and product groups each had their dedicated campaigns to engage users further along in the purchasing process. In March 2020, as the economy slowed due to COVID-19, ORACLE Lighting experienced a drop in sales, resulting in a ROAS of only 650% over an entire month. Nevertheless, our efforts prior to and during the crisis enabled them to rebound swiftly, ultimately achieving a ROAS of over 1200%—marking their highest monthly performance to date.
