Rakennustieto, part of the Building Information Group, is a publishing company and the foremost provider of construction-related information and literature in Finland. Since the early 20th century, alongside its parent organization, Rakennustietosäätiö RTS, and their predecessors, they have been advocating for effective building and property management practices. IWA has collaborated with Rakennustieto since early 2013, when the company began enhancing its digital online services. Since then, IWA has successfully completed several projects for both Rakennustieto and Rakennustietosäätiö RTS. These user interfaces utilize Rakennustieto’s innovative proprietary user interface library, which is built on the Bootstrap framework and developed and maintained by IWA. Another recent achievement from this successful collaboration is Rakennustieto’s new RT Tietoväylä, which offers users a single, unified access point to all of Rakennustieto’s services. This new RT Tietoväylä, also developed using Rakennustieto’s user interface library, can be accessed at rt.rakennustieto.fi.

Flioz - making investment in stock market easy and fun!

Flioz is a FinTech startup based in Helsinki, Finland, established by a group of seasoned finance experts committed to making stock market investing profitable, accessible, and enjoyable. By partnering with IWA, Flioz connected with a like-minded technology provider enthusiastic about bringing their vision to life. Their collaboration began with a small UX design project, during which IWA outlined the app's core features and created the initial user flow using wireframes. To develop the app as a native iOS application, IWA utilized a Ruby on Rails backend to manage third-party stock market data. Additionally, a management dashboard for handling the app’s editorial content and sellable portfolios was also created. IWA integrated various analytics and advertising SDKs into the app and introduced Flioz's founders to lean analytics methods and essential startup metrics. Launched in April 2016, the app now assists numerous individuals interested in stock market investing by helping them identify successful portfolio strategies in a volatile market. The first version of the Flioz mobile app for iOS was rolled out after eight months of development, thanks to the effective collaboration of a diverse project team that combined the expertise of both Flioz and IWA staff. Agile prototyping and rapid build-test cycles enabled Flioz to refine and enhance the app's concept even as development progressed.
