Must Société - Maison Corbeil - Jardin de Ville
Utilize the full potential of an e-commerce platform while considering an omnichannel approach. The home decor and furniture industry is among the first in retail to adopt a true multichannel strategy, with the e-commerce platform serving as a crucial initial step in the purchasing process. Embracing all e-commerce opportunities within an omnichannel framework was the challenge we accepted with G2MC. Given that each of G2MC’s brands is distinct, we closely collaborated with their brand agency to incorporate their premium standards and aesthetics into the digital platform. The primary challenge was to meet the needs of all three brands within a single platform. To achieve this, we examined the product information, business rules regarding returns and warranties, logistics, and channel integrations (stores, web, social media, etc.) for each brand, consolidating them to establish a coherent process. Our development team successfully built a robust connection with their ERP system, Meublex, allowing the sales teams to deliver their renowned customer service while the logistics team managed everything from delivery to returns and pickups. Customers of Maison Corbeil, MUST Société, and Jardin de Ville share similar expectations. They seek inspiration and timely access to the right information (such as product measurements), regardless of the device or channel, and want to feel confident in their choices. Together with G2MC’s digital and e-commerce team, we aimed to create as seamless an in-store and online experience as possible. This involved developing customer service features, implementing BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick Up In Store), showcasing products on display, offering numerous furniture customization options, and allowing appointments for in-store shopping sessions, all while prioritizing conversion.
