Baltics EXPO 2025
**Introduction**
Baltics EXPO 2025 is a collaborative initiative by Lithuania and Latvia aimed at showcasing the Baltic region at the prestigious EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Japan. This project seeks to emphasize the nations' combined strengths in areas such as innovation, sustainability, culture, and economic growth. Norrspark was tasked with creating and developing the official website, which serves as the digital representation of the pavilion. Our goal was to craft an engaging online experience that effectively conveys the vision, values, and cooperative spirit of both countries to a global audience of millions.
**Challenges**
The main challenge was to develop a visually appealing and functional website that accurately represented the joint identity of Lithuania and Latvia on an international platform. The site needed to convey themes of innovation, culture, and business excellence while resonating with a diverse global audience. Additionally, we had to work under tight deadlines aligned with the international EXPO schedule, necessitating smooth collaboration with various stakeholders from both nations.
**Solution**
Our team at Norrspark successfully created a custom-designed, high-performance WordPress website, emphasizing accessibility, scalability, and multilingual capabilities. We prioritized intuitive UI/UX design, straightforward navigation, and responsive layouts to ensure an engaging experience across various devices. The site was optimized for international visibility, highlighting key features of Lithuania and Latvia's pavilion, including events and their business environment. We also provided ongoing support and performance monitoring to maintain platform stability throughout the EXPO.
**Impact**
The website emerged as a key communication hub for the Baltics EXPO 2025 initiative, attracting the attention of international partners, media, and visitors even before the event commenced. It significantly enhanced the visibility of Lithuanian and Latvian businesses and cultural groups preparing to participate in Osaka.
