Sysdig
Sysdig, a company specializing in open-source monitoring and security for data containers, has swiftly transitioned from a startup to a recognized player with an expanding range of enterprise products. As they grew, they required a refreshed brand, an intuitive website, and an effective way to convey complex technical information to B2B clients, including developers, engineers, and C-suite executives. The Sysdig team turned to Noise 13 for our lifestyle expertise and valued our background in UX and digital strategy, which facilitated smooth collaboration with their development team. Our goal was to create a brand that strikes a balance between being intelligent and approachable, polished yet not overly slick. We emphasized the concept that Sysdig's technology is central to both container intelligence and essential business issues such as agility, reflecting their enthusiasm and distinctive technology. With a clear strategy established, we proceeded to develop a cohesive visual identity, which included iconography, a complete pattern library, and an illustration repository. To distinguish their brand colors from product alert colors, we crafted a limited but distinctive and expandable color palette. We also devised a system called "iconistrations," which are symbols that offer more complexity than icons yet are simpler than fully detailed illustrations, to serve as unique identifiers for marketing. All these components came together to create a modern website featuring a sophisticated but user-friendly navigation system and high interactivity. As Sysdig serves a diverse clientele, including Pixar, Comcast, and Cisco, it was crucial to set guidelines that would enable them to update their site and brand cohesively. Ultimately, we established a brand identity that aligns with Sysdig's current identity and aspirations for the future.
