Executive Briefing - Salesforce
Salesforce.com was established in 1999 by former Oracle executive Marc Benioff, along with Parker Harris, Dave Moellenhoff, and Frank Dominguez, as a company focused on software as a service (SaaS). Today, it operates as a cloud-based software enterprise with its headquarters in San Francisco, California. Its main product, Salesforce CRM, offers solutions for marketing, sales, commerce, and service sectors through an interface designed for managing cases and tasks, as well as a system for automating event routing and escalations. The Salesforce customer portal allows users to track their cases, access analytical tools, and view entitlements and contracts. In 2018, the company was ranked first on Fortune's list of 100 Best Companies to Work For. Its CRM software has assisted over 150,000 companies in improving their operations. Three years ago, Salesforce recognized growing challenges in collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, coordinating meeting logistics, and understanding essential customer concerns and objectives. To address this, they approached Nimacloud with the question: how can we ensure that all participants are informed, prepared, and actively engaged in these meetings? In response, a new Executive Briefing app was developed in just 12 weeks, transforming these important meetings into smooth, collaborative experiences that enhance the attendee experience. This app expanded Salesforce’s CRM capabilities by associating each meeting with an Opportunity, and it was integrated with Google Calendars and QUIP. As a result, Salesforce was able to streamline logistical issues for its more than 2,000 briefings, ensuring timely attendance at the right meetings. Enhanced in-app metrics now help Salesforce staff prioritize and manage resources more effectively. Both employees and customers have noted a significant improvement in the efficiency of the process.
